Pearl & Pine Cleaning is a growing non-toxic residential cleaning company serving Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are committed to providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards in every client's home. We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Lead Residential Cleaner / Operations Assistant to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. Previous professional cleaning experience is required. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently without supervision, and is interested in growing with a small business that values professionalism and quality.
Compensation & Incentives
- Starting wage: $28.00 per hour

Schedule
- Monday to Thursday
- Daytime hours
- Occasional Fridays for rescheduled appointments or larger projects
- Part-time to start, with the opportunity to move into full-time employment based on performance and company growth
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining Pearl & Pine's reputation for quality and professionalism. Responsibilities include:
Cleaning Services
- Performing high-quality residential cleaning services
- Providing occasional commercial cleaning services
- Maintaining Pearl & Pine's strict cleaning standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and professionalism in clients' homes
Equipment & Supply Management
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment after each shift
- Washing, drying, and organizing microfiber cloths and mop heads
- Restocking supplies and reporting inventory needs
- Safely transporting cleaning equipment and products between appointments
- Storing company equipment and supplies in a clean, secure area within your home
Operations Support
- Reporting issues or concerns promptly
- Assisting with scheduling and operational tasks as the role develops
- Helping maintain efficient systems and organization as the company grows
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Previous professional cleaning experience is required
- Experience in residential cleaning
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel to client locations throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
- Professional, trustworthy, and dependable
- Comfortable working in private residences
- References are required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit)
