Duties
- Assist servers with setting up tables, refilling supplies, and clearing dishes to ensure efficient service flow
- Support food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing orders for timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and restocking supplies
- Running and bussing food from tables is a main priority of this job.
- Polishing glassware, restocking the bar
- Handle food handling responsibilities following safety standards to ensure quality and hygiene
- Support cashiering activities by assisting with cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions using systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal service and guest requests
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation procedures and food handling protocols
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems like Clover POS or cashiering procedures enhances your ability to support the team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and staff in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper cleaning procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Hospitality or hotel experience, barista experience, or a guest services background are valuable assets
