Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to design visually appealing graphics, advertisements, and marketing materials.
- Create and optimize visual content for print, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Create visually stunning graphics, illustrations, and layouts that align with our brand identity.
- Take ownership of projects, confidently bringing them from concept to delivery with creativity, attention to detail, and a strong eye for composition, layout, and typography.
- Stay updated with the latest social media and digital trends to ensure our visual assets are cutting-edge and engaging.
- Communicate effectively with team members, incorporating feedback and revisions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team and following direction when required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design
- 1-2 years of relevant post education relevant experience designing content in print media
- Proficiency with the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
- Ability to solve problems using good judgment and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- A keen eye for detail, consistency and quality control
- Adhere to brand guidelines and translate brand personality into content
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Exceptional portfolio with examples of strong print and digital work
- Videography, motion graphics and photography skills are considered an asset
- Interest and experience with social media an asset
