The Position - What you’ll be doing:
As the Head of Experience, you’ll lead recruitment, day-to-day management and career development of a team of 20-30 passionate instructors who visit schools to inspire Magic every day. You will be accountable for improving and re-designing operational systems to drive efficiency and cost-saving objectives. You’ll oversee the Operational budget, scheduling, and payroll requirements. Finally, you’ll be supported to use your initiative to help to build the company alongside the leadership team.
The Skills - What we need to see from your past experience:
Systems designer with strong-advanced technology skills - You love mapping processes to find opportunities for improved efficiencies. You have an innate ability with technology and although you’re not a computer engineer (or maybe you are : )), you can generally figure out most challenges with an online technology solution or other improvements to systems.
Financial management experience with a love of data - You love numbers to drive financial results. You not only have experience utilizing spreadsheets and budgets in your past roles but you also manage your personal finance this way. You feel energized when you find ways to save time and/or money.
Team leader with a passion for self-development - You love learning about leadership, in fact, you’ve read many leadership and self-development books. You understand the difference between leadership and management and strive to be the greatest leader possible. You are kind and compassionate but still stern with strong boundaries to help people grow. You have direct experience leading a team of people.
Operational coordinator who can juggle many things - You are a “do-er”. You see a problem and are willing to roll-up your sleeves to get your hands dirty to get it done. You can negotiate with suppliers, manage stock needs and ensure all the moving pieces are in place to deliver upon expectations.
