Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as milling machines and lathes to produce high-quality parts according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Program CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and CNC programming languages to optimize machining processes
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate manufacturing of parts
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, including calibration and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality control inspections throughout the machining process
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, welding, or packaging as needed to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols, including forklift operation when necessary
Skills
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls and other CNC programming interfaces
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment such as press brake machines, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes
- Experience with blueprint reading, CAD software like SolidWorks or similar platforms
- Ability to operate hand tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills for precise measurements
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Basic understanding of machining processes such as machining, assembly, and packaging procedures
