Job Description: Senior Landscape Construction Crew Leader
As a Crew Leader your focus will be on the completion of day to day activities involved in the management and construction of residential Landscape construction projects
Responsibilities:
- Organizing all daily tasks for your assigned crew to complete landscape construction projects
- Manage onsite materials and tools required to complete all tasks
- Projects will vary in size from $20,000 to $1,000,000 depending on experience
- Crew size will vary from 2 to 5 members
- Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, cut off saws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, mowers, trimmers, blowers etc.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications to delegate/complete work activities
- Arrive to required jobsite or at OGS yard on time and ready for the day
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Complete all work activities in a safe and efficient manner, and be compliant with government and company PPE standards
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations on jobsites
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- During Winter Months you will be required to clear snow using trucks, machinery or by hand
Job Requirements:
- Must work well with assigned crew and complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Quality of Construction and Maintenance must be meet OGS Landscape standards
- Complete all required “New Hire” Training before starting with OGS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
