Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and a variety of dump trailers, and flatdecks to transport materials and equipment to job sites and landfills
- Load and unload construction materials at job sites and warehouse
- Perform pick-up and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Assist with inventory management, organization, and material handling at the warehouse
- Support site crews with deliveries, pickups, and occasional labour assistance to load and offload
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with operations team, site supervisors, and warehouse staff
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional driving experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
- 2+ years experience towing and backing up trailiers, sometimes into tight spaces
- Valid Class 3 or 5 BC Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
- Heavy trailer endorsement licensing or willing to obtain
- Knowledge of the Lower Mainland roadways and traffic patterns
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails
- Safety conscious, with concern for others
- Calm demeanour with problem solving ability
- Forklift certification is an asset (but not required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Experience:
- towing trailers: 2 years (required)
- commercial driving: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 3 or 5 license (required)
- heavy trailer endorsement (preferred)
