Job Summary
As an Account Executive at Air Liquide, you will drive business growth by independently hunting for new opportunities and managing a ~$5M sales portfolio. You will develop strategic territory plans, negotiate commercial proposals, and collaborate cross-functionally to build long-term customer loyalty and deliver tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities
Hunt for new business opportunities, source leads independently, and develop local markets for new applications with a strong vision of competitive strategies.
Develop strategic business plans to manage and grow a sales portfolio of approximately $5M; establish profitable selling prices within company guidelines.
Utilize Salesforce to effectively plan, schedule, and report on all activities with customers and prospects.
Draft comprehensive commercial proposals and negotiate contracts tailored to meeting customer needs.
Identify customer needs, decision-making structures, and cultures to secure commitment through creative solutions and cross-functional internal collaboration.
Act as the primary contact for Air Liquide to resolve issues, build long-term loyalty, and elevate the quality of business relationships.
Partner productively with various departments and team members to ensure seamless customer service.
Maintain a high level of professional expertise regarding Air Liquide’s values, products, services, and industrial processes.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma: College diploma or bachelor’s degree
Training: Selling skills, Quality System (ISO)
Knowledge: Computerized systems, SalesForce or other CRM tools, services or applications, familiarity with legal contracts and terminology would be an asset.
Skills: Google Apps Suite, metal fabrication, data analysis
Experience: 2+ years of direct/indirect industrial sales experience with detailed knowledge of selling industrial gasses, and with a strong focus on territorial expansion and client satisfaction.
