We are currently in search of a Labourer to join our team.
Role Overview:
As a Labourer at BPL Hydroseed & Environmental, you will play a vital role in supporting the hydroseeding operations, ensuring the successful implementation of our projects. You will work closely with the Hydroseed Operators and our equipment to help with various tasks related to hydroseeding and land restoration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Hydroseed Operators in setting up and preparing hydroseeding equipment and materials.
- Load and unload equipment, seed, mulch, and other materials as needed.
- Perform general site preparation tasks, including raking, grading, and cleaning.
- Support in mixing seed, mulch, and additives to create hydroseeding blends.
- Help in monitoring and adjusting hydroseeding processes on-site as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- No prior experience required; however, experience in landscaping or outdoor work is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Camp Work will be required from time to time
