Airdrie Daycare Now Hiring: Daycare Cook (Level 1 ECE Preferred)
Airdrie Daycare is looking for a caring, reliable, and organized Cook to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for children.
- Following Alberta Health Services food safety standards and allergy protocols.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Ordering and managing food inventory.
- Supporting a positive and welcoming environment for children and staff.
-Assist in classrooms and support educators with children as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Level 1 Early Childhood Educator certification is an asset.
- Food Safe certification is preferred.
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for providing healthy meals and supporting young children.
