Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Depot Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at our bottle depot, including opening and closing the facility, managing staff, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Open and close the bottle depot according to the schedule, ensuring security and proper operation of all equipment.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of depot staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Manage employee schedules and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Assist customers with bottle drop-offs and answer any questions regarding the recycling process. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Monitor the daily operations to ensure smooth processing of bottles and cans, maintain cleanliness and organization of the depot, and manage inventory of supplies.
- Report any issues or concerns to the management team, including equipment malfunctions, staff performance, or customer feedback.
- Demonstrate precise processing and material handling abilities.
- Record accurate counts of products coming in and provide refund receipts to our customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive company culture that promotes growth and continuous learning.
- Keep the depot clean and organized.
CORE COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Previous experience in a supervisory role or in a similar operational position is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
