Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard for Park Patrol duties to ensure the safety and security of our outdoor premises. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment, preventing loss, and providing excellent surveillance coverage across the park area. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in note/log taking. This position offers an opportunity to serve the community while working in an outdoor setting that requires attentiveness and professionalism.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of park grounds to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Observe and report any unusual behavior or security breaches
- Enforce park rules and regulations to prevent vandalism, theft, or other unlawful activities.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including assisting visitors or contacting emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Utilize surveillance tools effectively to monitor large outdoor areas and identify potential security threats.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required to address criminal activity or safety concerns.
- Ensure all security protocols are followed diligently to protect visitors, staff, and park property.
Skills
- Prior experience in , security, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security operations and monitoring techniques.
- Ability to perform loss prevention duties effectively by identifying theft or vandalism activities.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail for recognizing potential threats or hazards.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations while providing excellent customer service to visitors.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
