Redemption Contracting Inc. is a General Contracting company focusing mainly on small to mid-sized jobs including residential renovations, commercial tenant improvements and commercial retail units. We take on a variety of job environments and enjoy self-performing finished trades such as carpentry, cabinet installs, small drywall scopes and painting.
Residential — We are typically involved from start to finish on these renovations, which generally includes site protection and demo, followed by preparation of new layouts for subsequent trades. We self-perform most of the framing, finish carpentry, cabinet installs and painting, utilizing subcontractors when required.
Commercial — We focus heavily on self-performing demolition, steel framing, drywall patchwork, prefabricated cabinet installs, painting and back-framing. Most other aspects of commercial jobs are performed by subtrades.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
✓ Maintain a clean job site, organize tools and create a presentable environment in order to produce high quality work
✓ Prepare the site for subsequent trades using foresight to anticipate their needs
✓ Site protection, removing and replacing hardware, demolition, prepping surfaces for subsequent installs, assembling materials, back framing and minor wall framing with wood and steel, cut and install trim and doors, prefab cabinet installs, wall repairs and painting

REQUIREMENTS
› Minimum 2 years full-time on-site construction experience
› Valid driver's licence and reliable work vehicle — non-negotiable
› Full-time experience in any of the following trades — finish carpentry, framing, demo, drywall, or painting — is an added bonus and will be compensated accordingly
› A strong work ethic and attention to quality — we notice both
Wage and payment are based on performance, not experience
With us you will be exposed to multiple trades — especially finished carpentry, demo, painting, and framing. Your relevant experience in these areas is an added bonus and you will be compensated accordingly.
