Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality cleaning services for residential and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and system efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently. Prior experience in facilities maintenance, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in duct cleaning and facilities upkeep within a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to clean air ducts and HVAC systems effectively.
- Perform thorough cleaning of ductwork, vents, and related components in both residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks related to facilities and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain services performed and address any questions or concerns.
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes.
- Lift heavy equipment or materials safely during the course of work, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after service calls.
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete jobs efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks daily.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
