We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Demo / Sampling Person to represent our brand at various markets/retail locations and or events. This role involves engaging with customers, providing product samples, and creating a positive experience that encourages product awareness and sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Duties
- Set up sampling stations with product displays in designated Market /retail or event spaces
- Engage customers by offering product samples and explaining features and benefits
- Gather customer feedback and answer questions about the products
- Promote brand awareness through friendly interaction and professional presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sampling area throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management by tracking sample quantities and reporting needs for restocking
- Adhere to all safety and food handling guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
Skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey product information. Previous experience in food service, Gluten Free Knowledge, marketing, or customer service is an asset.
- Public speaking skills to confidently engage groups of customers or at events
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during shifts
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for engaging with people
- Basic understanding of sales techniques and promotional strategies
