The role
We are seeking a temporary bookkeeper to join our team at Dynamic Rescue Systems. The bookkeeper would work collaboratively with the finance department on a range of tasks, including but not limited to managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and GL functions, process invoices, payments and expense reports and support month end closing activities.
This is a 3-month initial contract with strong likelihood of extension. We see this as an ongoing fractional relationship, particularly through our peak seasons.
What you will be doing
Managing accounts payable — coding, processing, and scheduling vendor payments
Managing accounts receivable — invoicing, collections follow-up, reconciling subledgers and aging management
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks Enterprise
Supporting month-end close, reporting, accruals, deferrals and continuity schedules as needed
What we are looking for
5+ years of hands-on AP/AR/GL experience — you can operate independently from day one
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise, strong excel skills
Comfortable with collections, professional, persistent, and effective
Able to come in-office to our Surrey, BC location, this is not a remote role
Available immediately and able to commit to 20 hours/week on a consistent schedule
Industry background is not required, seniority and reliability are what matter

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
