Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our growing team. This role offers flexibility in hours, opportunities to grow your practice, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. We welcome new graduates as well as experienced clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide community-based physiotherapy services within the full scope of practice outlined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, including assessment, diagnosis, education, and intervention.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions and support rehabilitation needs from the perspective of chronic disease prevention and management.
- Deliver physiotherapy services independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including rehabilitation assistants.
- Ensure practice is consistent with professional standards, ethical frameworks, and organizational policies.
- Participate in continuing education to support professional growth and meet patient population needs.
- Conduct reflective practice, evaluating and updating knowledge to improve patient care quality.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards.
- Contribute to program development, evaluation, and other cross-functional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Valid liability/malpractice insurance.
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a community setting (new graduates welcome).
- Demonstrated ability to plan and recommend self-care and rehabilitation programs.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in English; another language reflective of the local community is an asset.
