Administrator, Network Systems


The IT team is currently looking for a dynamic Administrator, Network Systems to fill a position in the Greater Montreal Area.


Update and maintain network and security equipment (switching systems, routers, firewall)
Develop and monitor major IT infrastructure projects
Contribute to the development of network infrastructure design and architecture
Ensure the technical evolution and deployment of network security and components, while maintaining a stable environment throughout the process
Troubleshooting, level 3 assistance to the IT support team
Plan, document and implement procedures required for platform operation and optimization
When needed, make oneself available outside regular office hours to perform updates or troubleshooting


College diploma in computer science or an equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in this area
Verbal and written communication skills
Command of the French and English languages, both spoken and written
CCNA certification (an asset)
Practical knowledge of one or several of the following technologies and systems:
Avaya/Dell/Cisco switching system
SD-WAN technologies
Cisco ASA and Cisco FTD (Firepower)
Meraki wireless
Cisco AMP for Endpoint, Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella
Citrix NetScaler
Cisco AnyConnect (SSL VPN)
Superior command of switching system concepts/configuration (Layer 2)
Knowledge of new generation firewall (NGFW) concepts/configuration
Basic knowledge of routing concepts (Layer 3)
Command of VMware virtualization technologies and Windows servers (an asset)
Practical knowledge of Active Directory and other associated services (DNS, DHCP, ADFS, etc.) (an asset)
Practical knowledge of Office 365 (an asset)
