Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Outside Services Specialist to join our operational team. In this role, you will split your time between operating machinery, performing physical facility maintenance, and executing landscaping duties. The ideal candidate is a safety-minded individual capable of handling heavy physical labor while efficiently managing yard logistics.
Core Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation
- Move trailers safely using a shunt truck.
- Position trailers accurately in designated yard spots.
- Inspect yard vehicles daily for mechanical issues.
- Site Maintenance & Waste Management
- Shovel industrial waste materials from work areas.
- Remove debris and hazards across the site.
- Clear walkways to ensure safe pedestrian travel.
- Maintain clean, organized exterior facility grounds.
- Landscaping Duties
- Perform routine lawn care and grass cutting.
- Manage weeds and trim perimeter greenery.
- Execute seasonal cleanup and ground preparation.
- Plow Snow.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies strictly.
- Complete assigned tasks in a prompt manner.
- Maintain professional conduct with all team members.
- Execute miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Prior experience operating shunt trucks or heavy yard equipment.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy objects and shovel for extended periods.
- Stamina: Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety and hazard identification.
- Reliability: Proven ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
