What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience and valid CWB Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints
- Ability to read and follow welding procedures and specifications
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good attitude and communication skills
- Experience in pile and structural welding or willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing required
- Safety-focused mindset & ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and layout for welding projects.
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform welding tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and materials to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhere to safety regulations, including maintaining First Aid Certification and proper use of protective gear.
Required Certificates:
- CWB Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- WHMIS
- CSTS
- First Aid (is an asset)
