Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Produce Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will help support the freshness, organization, and cleanliness of our warehouse produce operation as well as pick produce orders for our locations. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and organizational skills will help maintain an efficient warehouse environment and support the timely preparation and distribution of produce to our stores.
Duties
- Stock, organize, and rotate fresh produce to ensure quality and freshness standards are met
- Pick, pack, and prepare produce orders for shipment to our stores
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy or bulky produce items when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, including storage areas, shelves, bins, and workspaces
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as required to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, produce, grocery, or retail environment is considered an asset
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy boxes and produce
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Flexible and dependable with a strong work ethic
