The Clinical Practice Manager will ensure that all ParaMed’s clinical practice is being delivered in a high quality and safe manner by monitoring patient safety, quality, patient experience and clinical outcomes.
**This position covers Waterloo, Kitchener, London and Windsor**
What you’ll do:
Support the regional clinical practice teams
Provide timely and responsive consultation to clinical inquiries
Actively involved with all patient safety and quality issues within region
Promote a culture of clinical excellence through the development of structured clinical education plans in collaboration with local clinical teams
Audit and monitor care and service delivery performance indicators and clinical indicators
Assist in high-risk incident analysis and conduct problem solving sessions to prevent reoccurrence
Ensure contract compliance and act on any issues relative to patient care/service delivery
What you bring:
Registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) with provincial regulatory college
More than 2 years of community experience in leading exceptional clinical practice in a community care environment
Minimum (3) years in formal nursing leadership role
Working knowledge of applicable health care legislation
Proven clinical experience in providing high quality clinical care, strong assessment skills, critical thinking and problem solving
Proven experience directly managing, leading and mentoring staff delivering community care
Superior oral and written communication skills
