Job Description
We are looking for a positive, motivated dental assistant to join our busy practice.
Duties include:
- Preparing patients for dental work
- Preparing rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures
- Recording treatment information
- Keeping patient records in order
- Taking and exposing x-rays for dental diagnostics
- Giving patients information on oral hygiene
- Providing post-operative and post-treatment instructions to patients
- Dental Assistant requirements
- Act in accordance with laws and regulations
- Working with dental software (Dentrix knowledge an asset)
- Help the dental assistant throughout the day
Job requirements:
- Certification in an accredited dental assistance program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team player
- Able to work in fast paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
