Shipping Supervisor — Mississauga, ON
Better Together Group is hiring a Shipping Supervisor to lead our Mississauga based client’s shipping team, ensuring every product moves out the door on time, on budget, and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Salary: $65,000.00 per year
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage shipping schedules
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive results
- Build work schedules to ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment
- Promote continuous improvement of product and process — identify solutions and troubleshoot problems
- Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained, in partnership with maintenance
- Promote a harmonious work environment where fairness, equity, and non-discriminatory practices are the standard
- Coach, train employees, and enforce policies and procedures
- Ensure all areas of the plant floor are clean, tidy, and organized
- Promote and manage safety within company guidelines
- Supervise the labour force in accordance with management guidelines
- Achieve freight rate targets
- Other duties as assigned from time to time
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of community college in supply chain logistics or a related field
- 5 years of related hands-on logistics and leadership experience
- *Must be in a Shipping Supervisor role currently or previously*
- Strong technical and process skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of all related roles within the field of responsibility
- Ability to process orders, track shipments, and coordinate warehouse logistics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

- Location Mississauga, ON (on-site)
- Report To Production Manager
- Team Supervises 6 staff
- Hours of Work Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- 40 hours per week (paid lunch and break)
- Pay Date Weekly — every Friday
- Probationary Period 3 months
- Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000.00 per year
- Yearly increase on base salary
- Annual bonus paid in December (eligible after 1 year of employment)
- Benefits: 100% employer paid
- Pension: Defined Contribution plan — 5% employer + 5% employee matched on base earnings
