Job Description
We are looking for a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our Construction Department. If successful, you will be working on large scale commercial, residential and industrial projects.
The successful candidate will work alongside other qualified trades people to install code compliant fire protection systems in a safe and efficient manner.
Viking Fire Protection designs and installs all types of fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, clean agent, hybrid and water mist systems.
Success Factors
Candidate needs to be a member in good standing with Local 254.
Red Seal or Manitoba Journeyperson Certification as a Sprinkler Fitter.
Experience in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire protection sprinkler systems (mandatory).
Experience on commercial and/or residential projects is necessary.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Safety first attitude.
Ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Strong customer service skills.
High level of communication is required.
