Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment to deliver memorable hospitality experiences.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation protocols
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Effective communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Food industry knowledge including food safety practices and serving techniques
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles such as food preparation or assisting in the kitchen when necessary
- A positive attitude with a focus on guest services, upselling, and creating an enjoyable dining experience
Pay: $16.00 per hour
