Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and promoting our products effectively. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of engaging customers in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technology sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Conduct product demos and explain features to customers
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and organized
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments efficiently and securely
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or technical sales preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell products confidently
- Good phone etiquette for remote customer assistance when necessary
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
