OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Intake Triage Manager with a strong background in Commercial Banking, project management, business analysis, intake management, or demand management to support the delivery and governance of strategic business initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership to assess, prioritize, and route incoming initiatives across cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who excels at managing competing priorities, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and bringing structure to ambiguous requests. The position offers broad exposure across Commercial Banking operations and provides an opportunity to help build and scale an integrated intake and triage function.

Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension Possible)
Pay: T4 $ 53 / IC: $61.5
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day intake activities, ensuring requests meet established quality, completeness, and governance standards.
- Facilitate triage discussions and support initiative prioritization based on business value, urgency, complexity, risks, and dependencies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment on initiative objectives.
- Define high-level scope, identify key risks and dependencies, and assess readiness for project delivery.
- Maintain and monitor the intake pipeline, ensuring accurate status tracking and visibility across stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain intake documentation, request summaries, triage logs, and prioritization records.
- Support governance forums by preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and documenting decisions.
- Collaborate with project management, business analysis, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoff of approved initiatives.
- Track and report on intake metrics, throughput, and process effectiveness to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify opportunities to enhance intake processes, governance frameworks, tools, and reporting capabilities.
- Prepare clear and concise stakeholder communications, status updates, and executive-ready summaries.
- Support additional responsibilities as the intake function continues to evolve and mature.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–7+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, intake management, demand management, portfolio management, or related disciplines.
- Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders, governance committees, prioritization forums, or project intake processes.
- Strong ability to assess and structure ambiguous business requests into actionable inputs and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple initiatives and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience maintaining process documentation, intake pipelines, reporting dashboards, and governance artifacts.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, PowerApps, Excel, intake management platforms, or similar tools.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across business and technology teams.
Preferred
- Experience within Commercial Banking, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Exposure to portfolio management, demand management, or PMO functions.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, operational improvement, or strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with governance, prioritization frameworks, and project lifecycle management.
- PMP, Scrum Master (SM), CBAP, CCBA, or related certification.
