HB Cycle is expanding, and we are hiring Powersports Technicians!
After proudly serving the powersports community from our Lindsay location for 37 years, we are opening a second location at 2704 Lakefield Road in Peterborough, Ontario.
Backed by nearly four decades of industry experience, an established customer base, and a strong reputation, our new location will operate as a dedicated BRP dealership servicing Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Can-Am ATVs, and Can-Am side-by-sides.
We are seeking skilled and motivated Powersports Technicians to join our growing service team. Successful candidates will diagnose, maintain, service, and repair BRP powersports products while providing high-quality workmanship and dependable service.

Duties
- Diagnose, maintain, service, and repair Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Can-Am ATV, and Can-Am side-by-side products.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, seasonal services, inspections, and pre-delivery inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel-system, and electronic concerns.
- Use diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and manufacturer resources to identify technical issues.
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently according to BRP and dealership standards.
- Perform warranty repairs, recalls, and manufacturer service campaigns.
- Communicate with BRP on casefile's for repairs.
- Install accessories, upgrades, and performance components.
- Accurately record inspections, diagnostics, parts, labour, and completed repairs on work orders.
- Communicate repair findings, required parts, and recommended services to the Service Manager.
- Test completed repairs to confirm units are safe and operating correctly.
- Work closely with the service and parts departments to keep jobs moving efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly care for dealership tools, diagnostic equipment, and customer units.
- Participate in BRP technical training and work toward required certifications.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with other service-department duties during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a powersports, motorcycle, marine, automotive, recreational vehicle, agricultural equipment, or small-engine technician is preferred.
- Experience servicing snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATVs, or side-by-sides is a strong asset.
- BRP product knowledge or previous BRP dealership experience is considered an asset.
- A valid Ontario Motorcycle Technician 310G licence is an asset, but we will consider candidates with suitable experience or relevant technical training.
- Apprentices and candidates interested in advancing their technical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and computerized diagnostics is an asset.
- Ability to follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to complete assigned work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively as part of a team.
- Comfortable using computers, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer service systems.
- Able to safely operate and move snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATVs, and side-by-sides.
- Physically able to lift parts and equipment and perform the regular duties of a service technician.
- Available to work Saturdays and additional hours during peak seasons.
- A valid Ontario driver's license.
