A career as a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Accounting team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in various corporate processes, including the production of financial information, control management, and the optimization of closing activities. You will be responsible for the financial results of the corporate sector and for monitoring compliance with sales tax accounting requirements for the Bank and its subsidiaries. Your role:
- Actively participate in month-end accounting processes
- Ensure ongoing accounting oversight while monitoring controls across various processes related to indirect taxes
- Analyze, interpret, and explain variances in monthly financial results, while producing various reports for stakeholders
- Participate in and actively contribute to initiatives and optimizations impacting corporate accounting processes
- Provide accounting support to the tax team during external audits by government authorities related to sales taxes
- Act as a coach to less experienced colleagues
Your team:
Within the Finance sector, your immediate team is composed of six colleagues, and you report to the Senior Director of Corporate Accounting. The broader accounting team is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate accounting activities, and accounting for the international sector.

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in accounting and 3–4 years of relevant experience
- CPA designation required
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and their use in a professional environment
- Strong attention to detail with effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated rigor, autonomy, and accountability in your role
