Position: Concrete Worker (Contract)

About the Role
Veles Construction Ltd. is seeking a dependable and skilled Concrete Worker to support residential and commercial construction projects across the GTA. The ideal candidate is experienced in all aspects of concrete work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and works safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare worksites for concrete placement.
- Set forms and install reinforcement as required.
- Mix, pour, spread, level, and finish concrete.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Perform concrete repairs, patching, and finishing.
- Read and follow site drawings and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with general construction activities as needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in concrete construction.
- Experience with residential and/or commercial projects.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Employment Terms
- Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour.
- Trial Period: The first two (2) weeks of employment will serve as a paid trial period to assess mutual fit and performance.
- Contract Duration: Upon successful completion of the trial period, employment will continue under a fixed-term contract for a total duration of three (3) months.
- Depending on project requirements, business needs, and performance, there may be opportunities for contract extension or future employment with Veles Construction Ltd.
