Position Summary
NB Benny's Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead crews and oversee daily operations on a variety of projects. We are looking for a Foreman with experience in concrete, framing, landscaping, site development, and general construction activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating field operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead field crews on construction projects.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and job site activities.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Train and mentor crew members as required.
- Complete daily reports and related documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Foreman or in a supervisory construction role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
