Role Overview
As a Cabinet & Millwork Shop Technician, you’ll work closely with our shop manager and project team to bring custom designs to life. Your day-to-day could include:
- Operating CNC equipment and edge banders with care and precision.
- Cutting, gluing, clamping, and assembling cabinet components using melamine, MDF, plywood, and hardwood materials.
- Using table saws, routers, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ensuring all pieces meet our high standards for fit, finish, and durability.
- Assisting with shop organization, inventory, and material handling.
- Supporting installation and service work when required (asset but not mandatory).
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a cabinet or millwork shop environment.
- Experience with CNC operation, edge banding, and general fabrication tools.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- Ability to read shop drawings and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required).
- Installation experience is an asset but not required — we’ll teach the right person.
Pay & Hours
- $25 – $36 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
- Full-time, steady year-round work.
- Overtime opportunities available.
