May also utilize forklift truck, cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational requirements. Key Accountabilities:• Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received. • Oversees safe and reliable packaging of all outgoing shipments.• Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures. • Review shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.• Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with finished goods that need to be shipped• Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required• Identify, hold and segregate defective material• Perform general clean up• Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements• Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead• Train others when required• Assist in any activities related to lean and/or quality• Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies• Meet/Exceed targets as defined by the leadership team• Other duties as assigned The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:• An individual must hold a high school diploma/ GED• 1 to 2 years machine operation experience and/or Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring• Ability to read and write• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs• Perform basic math skills• Use of hand held measuring tools• Demonstrates the ability to understand equipment and tolerances from past experience and successful past performance.• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics• Reliabe to achieve/maintain a good attendance and capable of working a consistent schedule • Ability to work overtime as determined by the business needs• Exceptional attendance and reliable• Ability to work with minimal supervision• Proactive self-starter and holds himself accountable to the team Preferred Requirements: • Counter balance forklift license• Computer literate• Has some knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging and shipping• Should be mechanically inclined• Good with mathematical calculations• Able to interpret blue prints• First aid and CPR training
