Ready John Inc., part of the Environmental Services Group of the Municipal Group of Companies – was one of the first companies to introduce portable sanitation to the province of New Brunswick. Over the years, we have brought innovative ideas and solutions to our customers. We seek a full-time Class 3 Vac Truck Driver to join our team. based out of Saint John, NB, or Fredericton, NB.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a Class 3, Vacuum Truck
Responsible for all paperwork and pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Transport required material, liquid waste
Executing the best customer service skills at all times, strong customer focus
Use safe driving tactics, obeying the rules of the road and Government regulations
Other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
Class 3 license required
Experience operating tank trucks and vac truck is considered an asset
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must have a customer-focused attitude.
Good time management and organizational skills
Comply with all safety policies and procedures
Ability to multi-task and successfully handle competing demands.
Ability to handle a physically demanding job
Working safely is a condition of employment
