Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Clear
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and serve beverages in accordance with food safety and food handling standards
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and handle cashiering responsibilities with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about drinks, and creating a hospitable environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours and special events
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Must have a velid Serving it Right
- Must be available but not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Clear POS for order entry and cash handling
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices is a plus
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to contribute positively to the work environment
