Position Summary
As a Carpenter with Quality Contracting, you will play a hands-on role across the full lifecycle of our projects, from framing and rough carpentry through to finish work. You will work closely with our project leads and fellow tradespeople to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. This role suits a versatile carpenter who is comfortable moving between residential renovations and commercial builds, and who takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Experience & Skills Required
The ideal candidate brings hands-on, practical experience across a broad range of carpentry work, including:
- Deck construction and repair
- Fence installation
- Landscaping and outdoor structures
- Kitchen and bathroom renovations
- House additions
- Interior and exterior door installation
- Commercial construction projects
- Baseboard and interior trim work
- Hollow metal door installation
- Wood door installation
- Siding installation and repair
- Roofing
- Concrete work
- Railing installation
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Strong track record of punctuality and dependability
- Presentable, professional appearance and demeanor on the job site
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a crew
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Red Seal certification is not required, but is considered a strong asset
