Description
Reporting to the Digital Product Owner, the UX/UI designer is user-focused and understand how people interact with digital experiences. With their intuitive design skills and knowledge of industry best practices, the UX/UI designer combines creativity with structure, using data, best practices, and design systems to create intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent experiences. Candidates applying for this role should also be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating business goals into user-centered design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned to brand standards
- Define and maintain a consistent design system (components, typography, color, spacing)
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers to ensure accurate and scalable implementation
- Improve navigation, content hierarchy, and overall usability
- Ensure designs meet accessibility (ADA) and responsive design standards
- Use analytics, user feedback, and testing to iterate and improve experiences
- Support A/B testing and optimization initiatives
Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Information Design or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in UX or product design, with systems level experience
- Experience in UI/UX design for websites or digital products
- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles
- Experience collaborating with developers and working within technical constraints
- Attention to detail and consistency across all design outputs
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
