Duties
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and other industrial tools
- Handle freight loading, unloading, and transportation within the facility or to external locations
- Assist with automotive repairs and maintenance as needed, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition
- Support commercial driving tasks, including transporting goods or personnel when required
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during all operations involving heavy equipment and freight
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on machinery and vehicles to prevent downtime
- Collaborate with team members across departments to coordinate tasks and improve workflow
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics coordination
- Ability to perform automotive repairs or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Commercial driving experience with valid licenses preferred
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery or vehicles
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to perform diverse tasks across different operational areas
