About us
We are an extremely busy Farm/Construction Equipment dealership currently seeking an Administrative/Accounting Assistant who can handle the fast-paced/high energy atmosphere of our business. Our dealership offers full service and parts support for the product lines we sell.
Reports To
Accounting Manager
Job Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors, and directing messages to employees
- Takes customer complaints or issues and passes them on to the appropriate individual
- Organizes and files company documents electronically
- Provides support for internal departments as directed
- Accounting duties related to customer accounts and payments; bank deposits; assisting with equipment sales
- Ordering office supplies for departments
Requirements
- Completion of a diploma in Business Administration or Accounting and/or 1 + years of associated experience
- IT skills - MS Office, Office 365
- Experience working with accounting software
- Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Resourcefulness & Problem-solving skills
- Able to take initiative; is a proven self-manager as well as a team player
- Competency in the Windows environment
- Detail oriented with excellent time management
- Willingness to learn
- Team focused attitude and desire to contribute to the existing collaborative culture
- High degree of interpersonal communication skills; able to communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members or clients

Work Conditions
- Work week will run from Monday to Friday. Hours of operation are 8:00am to 5:00 pm.
- Work occurs on-site
