Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with essential software tools. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient office workflows. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. Duties
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle filing, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to support office operations
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally and courteously
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial record keeping as needed
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings efficiently
- Support medical or dental office functions such as patient check-in/out and insurance documentation (if applicable)
- Maintain organization of office supplies and ensure the workspace remains tidy and functional
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while managing high-volume calls
Experience
- Previous office experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software preferred
- Strong computer skills including data entry, proofreading, and document management
- Clerical experience including filing, front desk duties, and multi-line phone systems management
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills
- Experience working in medical or dental offices is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with accuracy is preferred
- Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures such as patient support or insurance processing is a plus
This position requires a proactive individual who can adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
