Position Summary
**339A license holders need Not apply**
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in Orillia. This role involves operating mobile cranes to load, move, and deliver concrete products safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
**Experience preferred but Not essential. The right attitude and work ethic is just as important as previous experience**
Key Responsibilities
· Operate mobile cranes in a safe and efficient manner
· Communicate effectively with the ground crew during rigging and unrigging
· Conduct pre-operational inspections, including Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA)
· Calculate crane capacities and loads using load charts and manuals
· Ensure the use of appropriate rigging equipment
· Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
· Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs as needed
· Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
Requirements
· Minimum 1 year of experience operating a crane
· Valid Class ‘AZ’ or 'DZ' driver’s license
· Strong understanding of crane capabilities and limitations
· Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
· Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting ability
· Strong hazard awareness and safety focus
· Positive attitude and ability to represent the company professionally

Additional Details
Commute: Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Orillia, Ontario all year round.
