The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience on various types of bridge and transportation structures and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

SENIOR BRIDGE PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assume project management responsibilities and structural lead role on bridge and structural engineering projects.

Provide project management for multidisciplinary bridge projects.

Lead a structural design team for a variety of projects.

Apply advanced engineering techniques and tools to solve complex engineering challenges.

Direct, coach, support and guide engineers and technicians assigned to projects.

Advise management and collaborate with other disciplines.

Prepare proposals and participate in business development including publications and conferences.

Prepare structural designs and evaluations and contract packages for ATEC, City of Calgary and other key clients including current policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and manuals.

Oversee construction services for active projects during construction phases.

Other duties as assigned.
SENIOR BRIDGE PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Registered as Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation with 10 years’ experience in project management.

10+ years of experience in engineering practice in analysis and design of various types of bridge and transportation structures; railway structures design a plus.

Experience with reviewing condition survey reports and making recommendations for rehabilitation strategy.

Demonstrated experience working on a multi-disciplinary team delivering projects varying in complexity and bridge type, size, and scope.

Experience with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) Code.

Proficient in SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, MIDAS, Staad Pro, ETABS, Bentley ProjectWise and Microsoft Office applications.
