Aquatics Supervisor
1 Full-Time Position (37.5 Hours per Week)
Day, Evening & Weekend Shifts - Location: BGC London
Tentative Start Date: August 3rd, 2026
Salary Range: $38,000 - $44,000
We are seeking an experienced aquatic professional to join BGC London (Boys & Girls Club London) as an Aquatics Supervisor. In this role, you will support the Aquatics Manager with daily operations, including staff recruitment, training, supervision, scheduling, and conducting pool inspections. You will help ensure a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all participants, while also instructing, evaluating, and overseeing Swim for Life and aquatic leadership programs. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the aquatic leadership team, fostering a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for staff, children, and families in the BGC London community.
The successful candidate(s) for this position will possess the following qualifications:
· 2 + years or more working in a leadership role in the Aquatics field
· Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification
· Current Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor certification
· Current Standard First Aid with CPR & AED Level C certification
· Current Police Vulnerable Sector Clearance issued by local police station required
· Aquatic Supervisor, Pool Operator 1, Examiner Status (any level), First Aid Instructor/Examiner, National Lifeguard Instructor/Examiner certification considered an Asset
· Demonstrate strong leadership, customer service and communication skills
· Ability to teach Aquafit and other Aquatics Classes
· Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation.
