Reid’s Distillery is a family-owned craft distillery located in Toronto’s Leslieville neighbourhood. Known for our award-winning gin, cocktail program, and vibrant event space, we host everything from live music and weddings to cocktail classes, tastings, and private events.
We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys engaging with guests, and is comfortable both behind the bar and leading interactive cocktail experiences.
Position Overview
We’re hiring a Bartender who can deliver exceptional service during regular bar operations while also helping lead and instruct cocktail classes and tasting experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who is personable, confident speaking to groups, and passionate about cocktails, spirits, and creating memorable guest experiences. You’ll work closely with our events and bar teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, gin & tonics, and other beverages to Reid’s standards.
- Lead or assist with cocktail classes, tastings, and guided guest experiences.
- Confidently speak to groups about cocktails, spirits, and the Reid’s story.
- Deliver excellent guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate Toast POS and assist with reservations through Tock.
- Maintain cleanliness, prep work, stock levels, and bar organization.
- Support events, floor service, and other areas of the business when needed.
- Uphold Smart Serve practices and all health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years bartending experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading interactive experiences.
- Passion for craft cocktails, spirits, and hospitality.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
- Experience with cocktail classes, events, or hospitality hosting is an asset.
- Smart Serve certification required.
Pay: $20.00-$32.90 per hour
