Skills & experience
- POS and customer service in a retail or restaurant experience
- Preparing ingredients (eg: vegetable prep) and following recipes to produce consistent food
- Current Food Handler Safety & SmartServe certifications required
- Coffee knowledge and experience using commercial espresso equipment in a cafe setting is an asset
Role and responsibilities
- Customer service take drink and food orders, cashier duties
- Monitor online sales for advanced pick-up orders
- Prepare drink & food items according to established recipes using food safe practices following kitchen safety procedures
- Light cooking and meal prep
- Inventory tracking to avoid spoilage or out of stock items
- On-going cleaning practices to ensure a sanitary and organized working area
- We staff appropriately to our rushes, and some slots/days only warrant one staff for sandwich and drinks orders, along with open and close duties. Our candidate must be able to confidently manage on their own.
