Store Manager - Sydney River

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Sydney River store. They will model the NSLC's KORE values while respecting our corporate social responsibility mandate and will motivate, train and mentor to ensure a highly effective team. Responsibilities include creating exceptional employee and customer experiences, sales, recruiting and developing an effective team, and store operations including budget and expense management.


As a qualified candidate, you will have:
Post-secondary education in a related discipline (e.g. retail management, business or finance)
Minimum 5 years of retail experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a retail organization
Superior customer service skills
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Solid operational skills (expense management, inventory control, merchandising, and managing sales targets)
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends

An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent.
