The Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Associate, you’ll be the operational backbone of our Commercial Lines team (Strata department). You’ll support Account Managers and Account Executives by ensuring client files are accurate, documentation is complete, and billing processes run smoothly. Your attention to detail and organization help deliver a seamless, 5-star client experience while enabling the team to focus on building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Support Client & Team Operations
- Answer and direct incoming calls, assisting clients when possible
- Respond to client inquiries and route requests to the appropriate team member
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Account Executives to maintain complete and up-to-date client files
- Help ensure timelines and service standards are consistently met
Manage Documentation & Policy Administration
- Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business in accordance with company procedures
- Accurately enter policy updates, activities, and notes into Epic and insurer portals
- Prepare certificates of insurance, binders, invoices, and client correspondence
- Maintain expiry lists and assist with renewal preparation
- Process incoming mail and ensure all documentation is properly stored
- Follow up on outstanding underwriting requirements and client requests
Coordinate Billing & Payments
- Collect agency and direct bill premiums and record payments accurately in Epic
- Assist with accounts receivable follow-ups and outstanding insurer notices
- Support administration of payment plans
- Work with accounting and the Commercial Lines team to ensure billing accuracy and timely processing

What You Bring
Must-Haves
- High school diploma
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in commercial insurance or a similar administrative role
- Level 1 General Insurance License (would be happy to help obtain in the first 6 months of employment)
- Familiarity with Epic and insurer portals
- Understanding of insurance documentation and billing processes
- Background in customer service or a client-facing role
