ALLIED AVIATION is the largest American owned provider of fueling services to the commercial aviation industry. In Canada, the Allied Aviation family includes CAFAS, Airconsol and Volare Hospitality. In addition, the Allied Affiliates owns and operates pipelines, tank farms, FBO’s and other business activities such as ground handling, passenger services, aircraft de-icing and food/hospitality services.
ALLIED AVIATION has a requirement for a Flight Operations Supervisor to provide exceptional customer service by greeting and serving both Domestic and International aircraft.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Liaise with airport authorities, ramp agents, flight crew, dispatch, etc.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Co-ordinate de-icing, fuel, catering, customs and other requirements as requested by the airlines
- Assist passengers and crew requiring special handling
- Handle and resolve customer concerns
- Handle aircraft diversions (cargo and passenger)
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers
- Conduct radio communications with aircraft and record flight information
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- Other related administrative duties as assigned
The successful candidate should possess the following capabilities/experience:
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
- General computer experience including the ability to type and navigate the internet as well as any previous experience using an airline reservation system is considered an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate judgment and problem-solving ability and effective decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work varying shifts, handling of tight deadlines, and prioritization of multiple tasks
- Previous airline experience or post-secondary courses in travel and tourism are definite assets
- Leadership ability
- Customer focus and quality awareness
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Must obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification ID pass (to be obtained upon employment)
- Must hold a valid drivers license
- English language required (French language is considered an asset)
