Overview
We are a newly opened multidisciplinary clinic in Ontario seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our growing healthcare team.
This role offers the opportunity to provide patient-centred, evidence-informed acupuncture care in a collaborative clinical environment focused on pain management and overall wellness.
We are looking for a practitioner who is confident in safe acupuncture practice and interested in contributing to a new multidisciplinary clinic.
Position Details
- Status: Independent Contractor
- Term: 12-month agreement (renewable by mutual consent)
- Schedule: Part-time, flexible, mutually agreed
- Compensation: 60/40 fee split (60% practitioner / 40% clinic overhead & administrative support)
Clinic support includes reception, scheduling, billing coordination, and eClaims support where applicable. Clinical autonomy remains with the practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide safe and professional acupuncture treatments
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Educate patients on treatment and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Follow CTCMPAO standards
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible with the CTCMPAO
- Valid professional liability insurance (required)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to safe, patient-centred care
